May Trip P1 - Twin Arrows Casino near Flagstaff, AZ

We took off from our home in Los Alamos, NM for a wonderful 11 day trip. We headed for the Overland Expo in Flagstaff Arizona. Our goal was to check out the pop-up truck campers at the expo and see if we liked them. Could we really live fulltime in one?

Our first night we stopped at the fairly new Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort. It's nice. We enjoyed our stay there. We slept overnight in the free RV parking area.

We were both pretty impressed with this casino. We felt that the service was very good and everyone working there was super friendly. We had a nice dinner at the well stocked Buffet for around $15 each. After dinner, we had a great walk around the resort getting in our 10,000 steps.

It was quiet in the RV lot and we slept well. The next morning we had a tasty breakfast at the Casino's large cafe.

We shall return!

My plate at the buffet. I did eat gluten and suffered the next day a bit.

  1. That looks like it was a really fun trip! The Twin Arrows Casino looks like it was really nice to wander around and take in the sights. Plus, a $15 buffet? What a deal! That alone is almost worth going back for. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your travels!
